Lemonwilde from Los Angeles have just finished their first EP, Red Room. You can download it for free from MySpace. Band member, Luke Martinez, says that "we’ve grouped together to take music to places that it hasn’t been before..." I'd say that's a tall order to fill, but they're definitely off to a good start.

The White Noise Supremacists are a DIY band fronted Iféoluwa Babalola from Brooklyn, New York. The first EP, Shadows, was released in 2006 and are currently doing shows around the NYC area (and seeking a bassist, as well). The 6-song EP is a great listen, starting off strong with the first track and continuing all the way through.
