Ten years ago, we saw the release of Sigur Rós' Ágætis Byrjun, and the band has set up a mini-site to honor this anniversary, as well as plans to release a deluxe edition in 2010. This album is still (and with good probability always will be) one of my top albums of all-time. It's just a wonderful and beautiful masterpiece as far as I see it, but then again, I have a little bit of personal bias from my love of their homeland of Iceland. Not everyone shares the belief that it's such a great album, I know. The way I see it is this: there's 3 categories when it comes to people's opinions on music of SR. They either love it (such as myself), don't get it, or just flat out hate it.12 June 2009
A good beginning
